    Students of the Jubilee College of Music (JCM) put their studies into practice and celebrated Easter by participating in concerts.

  • Design Resource Project Launched

    Olivet College of Art & Design (OCAD) alumni and students are collaborating on a college-wide project that can enhance education. The project involves setting up an online resource website which provides educational content in Graphic Design that is accessible to OCAD students and alumni with a valid school ID.

    Students of Olivet Institute of Technology (OIT) are being treated to a special lecture series on JavaScript, hosted at Yahoo’s main campus in Sunnyvale, California. The lecture series is being conducted by Yahoo’s senior JavaScript architect Douglas Crockford.

  • Guest Lecturers Speak on Business as Missions

    Olivet College of Business (OCB) invited two Christian experts on the topic of business as missions. Dr. David Gill and Dr. Paul de Vries provided their insights to the biblical foundations of free market and how to apply Ten Commandments into business leadership and management.

  • OCJ Students Learn About Searching Public Records

    Olivet College of Journalism (OCJ) students learned firsthand how to access public records at government offices during a trip to the San Francisco Civic Center.

  • OTCS Student Focus on Islamic Issues

    Students of Olivet Theological College & Seminary (OTCS) are gaining deeper insight into Islamic issues in the mission field this semester. Dr. Joseph Ray Tallman, Dean of OTCS and world-renowned expert in Islamic issues as it relates to missions is teaching a course entitled Introduction to Islam.

  • OCAD Students Serving the Local Church

    Olivet College of Art & Design students are collaborating with local churches to assist churches with web design and marketing pieces. This service is part of the college's ministry practice program where students are learning about community involvement and serving local churches through design.

  • Award-Winning Photojournalist Leads Workshop

    Christian photojournalist Gary Fong, winner of numerous awards for his coverage in the San Francisco Bay Area, shared some of his prized photo-taking tips during a photojournalism workshop for Olivet College of Journalism students last week.

  • JCM Students Inspired From Faculty Discourse

    Jubilee College of Music (JCM) students are meeting weekly with the faculty of the College for a time of learning and discourse. Dean and Professor of JCM Dr. Merril Smoak is leading this weekly fellowship which is allowing the students to be inspired and enhance their learning.

  • Students Learn, Network at Local Lecture Series

    Olivet College of Business MBA students gained insight about creating financials at a recent lecture titled "Financial Modeling & Management,” hosted at the nearby University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. The lecture is part of the Entrepreneurial Best Practices Series being offered this academic year by the Haas School for individuals interested in learning about the practical aspects of entrepreneurial activity.

  • Students Attend GGBTS Missions Conference

    Students of Olivet Theological College & Seminary (OTCS) made a strong presence at this year's Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (GGBTS) Missions Conference. The 49th Missions conference, themed “Cultural Clash: When Worldviews Collide”, began on Friday Feb. 12 and continued until Sunday Feb. 14.
