The Olivet Theological College and Seminary is restructuring its undergraduate and graduate-level curricula.

OTCS Dean Dr. Donald Tinder, together with his administration, is developing new courses to better fit the practical needs of the field and solidify the theological knowledge of the ministry-bound students.

Some of the updated courses being rolled out are Historical Theology, Introduction to Theology, Christian Apologetics and Church Administration.

Biblical studies remain the core of OTCS, and a number of the new courses will incorporate the Logos Bible software so that students can better utilize study tools through a purely digital method. The Logos system includes more than 21,000 electronic Bible study resources through a partnership of 130 publishers.

The first of Olivet's Logos-supported courses, Introduction to Academic Biblical Studies, will be offered starting from the summer quarter. Introduction to Greek and Introduction to Hebrew will be the next to come.

Current theology students are especially excited to take the Logos-supported courses, which was developed so that students can enroll and study entirely at their own pace.
