Olivet faculty and administrative leaders gathered at the San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville, California on August 19-20 for the University's Summer Leadership Retreat. The summer retreat is an annual opportunity for community-building among Olivet leaders and preparation for the upcoming school year.
The retreat began with President Randolph addressing the participants and acknowledging the contributions of the entire University community in the past year before opening the floor to division reports. Formal presentations and small group discussions marked the two-day event, together with fellowship and prayer.
Academic Dean Dr. William Wagner concluded the event with short message emphasizing on the importance of having a vision and shared his gratitude for working for Olivet University.
The retreat garnered high praise from attendees, who confirmed their commitment to University's mission and strived to complete the goals laid out during the meeting. Attendees have scheduled to meet in sub-committees over the next several months to continue discussions from the retreat.
