As the next semester approaches, new plans and visions are in store for Olivet College of Art and Design. As advancements in internet user navigation and layout for web continue to evolve, so does courses at OCAD.
More information is being presented online and viewers may be overwhelmed. It is vital that design students present these messages effectively on web and print. Media interface can keep or lose a viewer's attention. Students are exploring areas of design such as web 2.0.
At the same time, core fundamentals from traditional graphic design gives them a strong foundation to work off of. Areas such as typography and layout on print concept can translate over to media.
