April 02, 2009

San Francisco, CA. – Students of Olivet College of Art & Design (OCAD) are participating in this year's Web 2.0 Expo, an international conference of Web designers and developers.  The conference is being hosted at the nearby Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco March 31 to April 3.

The Expo features the most innovative and successful Internet industry figures and companies.  OCAD students attending the event will learn about the latest advances in design strategies, development paradigms and business models to enable mainstream businesses and new arrivals to enter the Web 2.0 world.

Proficiency with the use of Web 2.0, which has changed the face of the Internet in recent years, has become essential for professional web designers and web developers. The Web 2.0 Expo has been connecting business leaders and innovative technologists since 2004 and has been the primary gathering for these leaders to discuss and debate the issues facing the future of web.  This year, the 2009 Web 2.0 Exposition seeks to "reface the core dynamics of Web 2.0."
