As 2007 Fall approaches, OCAD prepares for the new class of culturally diverse students, a common sight at Olivet University. OCAD classes are expected to welcome students from Spain, Czech Republic, Japan, and Korea. Certain students come with past academic experience in the art field such as architecture and computer arts. Each student brings their own experience in style and cultural inspirations. The college antites a lot of artistic development and an array of fabulous works for the upcoming semester.
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to mark the opening of the 2007-2008 academic year at Convocation, taking place Monday, September 10, at 4:00 p.m., at Olivet University Chapel, 250 4th Street in San Francisco.
OCAD will host student orientation sessions September 8-15 with opportunities to:
• Attend academic information sessions for individual programs
• Meet Faculty
• Student services booths
• Fellowship activities
• Tour the campus
• Parent Sessions
