It can be an uncertain time for students finishing their college years at the end of this semester. But this year's graduating class is also full of high hopes and successes, especially at Olivet College of Journalism (OCJ).
Rastislav Cizmar is one of the many students who will graduate from OCJ in June and jump straight into an exciting and challenging career in the world of professional journalism.
Like many OCJ students, Cizmar was able to take advantage of numerous industry partnerships through the college's pre-professional programs.
"I was able to gain a lot of experience over the past few summers," Cizmar explains. "It helped me turn my dream to enter this professional field into reality."
OCJ alumni careers often begin with an internship that develops into a full-time position at an Olivet University ministry affiliate. OCJ administrators provide career counseling to students throughout their college years to prepare them for entry into the professional world upon graduation.
"I believe God prepared the way for me, and OCJ was a big part of that preparation. All of the past learning and experience has come together at this pivotal moment!"
