December 1, 2006 – The ranks of the Olivet Theological College & Seminary (OTCS) faculty have expanded over the fall with the arrival of new adjunct professor Dr. Don Tinder. This addition is part of an effort to bring about a net increase of faculty members during 2006-2007 academic year. Professor Tinder comes to OTCS from the Evangelical Theological Faculty,
Professor Tinder brings expertise in a range of subjects, especially Christian history and systematic theology.
"We count ourselves very fortunate to have Dr. Don Tinder on staff" said Academic Dean William Wagner. "He is a world-class scholar, and we believe he will bring an enormous amount of scholarship to the University."
This year, he is teaching the Master of Divinity course "Church History," a study of the foundations and development of the Christian Church from the first century to the present.
