Students Invited to Lead Worship and Share Testimonies at Local Baptist Church

Students and staff from Olivet University were invited to participate in a special Sunday worship service at Anza Baptist Church, strengthening fellowship between the university and the local church community.

The event was coordinated by Pastor Matthew Nevills of Anza Baptist Church in partnership with Olivet University students, who led worship and shared personal testimonies of faith and ministry preparation.

Students and team leader Sunny Shin, led the congregation in several hymns, creating a joyful time of worship. Students Koray Ozbay and Chrystal Lee shared their testimonies, reflecting on their journeys to faith in Christ, their decision to attend Olivet University traveling from Australia and Africa respectively, and the impact the university has had on their spiritual growth and preparation for ministry.

Dr. Jonathan Park introduced Olivet University and invited the students to share their stories with the congregation. Church members warmly welcomed the students and expressed appreciation for their service and participation in the worship gathering.

The service provided a meaningful opportunity for worship, fellowship, and community engagement. As Olivet University continues to strengthen its outreach efforts, events such as these serve to deepen relationships with local churches and encourage mutual support in ministry.
