Olivet University has donated over 1,000 new bento lunchboxes to local families and residents in collaboration with Anza Electric Cooperative. This initiative aims to provide a practical, reusable option for community members to take meals on the go, whether for work, school, or events.
Originally intended to support the university’s students, staff, and faculty, the surplus lunchboxes presented an opportunity for Olivet to extend this gift to the broader Anza community.
"We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to our community," said Dr. Nate Tran, Chairman of Olivet University. "We truly appreciate Anza Electric Cooperative for assisting us in distributing the lunchboxes and for their ongoing commitment to serving Anza residents."
The lunchboxes will be distributed at upcoming community events with support from Anza Electric Cooperative. This effort reflects Olivet University’s dedication to local service, as students, faculty, and staff regularly volunteer at the Anza Coop's monthly food pantry event.
Olivet University is grateful for the chance to give back to the community and looks forward to continuing its partnership with Anza Electric Cooperative.
