At mid-semester, Olivet University is preparing Cyber Exhibition 2007— a multimedia showcase featuring graphic design and fine art creations from graduating students, produced in collaboration with Olivet College of Art & Design (OCAD).
OCAD Professor Ginturn Tran, one of the event's chief organizers, said the cyber exhibition is anticipated by faculty, staff, and students as the premier event of the College this season.
"Each semester our students have shown themselves to be capable of quality work in a diversity of areas that simply amazes viewers," he said. "Cyber Exhibition will bring that to light."
At the close of the semester, OCAD graduating seniors are required to display a portfolio of their work demonstrating progress towards the expected outcomes of the graphic design program. Cyber gallery items are selected by a panel of OCAD faculty members from among the top projects submitted by students, along with several faculty contributions.
Cyber Exhibition 2007 will run December 21-31. Viewing information will be updated on the OCAD website.
