Olivet University's summer leadership retreat will take place this year Aug. 7-8, at the San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville, California.
The meeting is for staff representatives of the University's academic and administrative unit.
On the agenda is a series of presentations discussing important administrative, institutional assessment, and curriculum issues from the previous academic year, as well as future directions. The opening presentation will be delivered by University President David James Randolph, titled "What are you doing here," from scriptures 1 Kings 19 and Matthew 28.
Nestled in 55 acres of wooded hills far from distractions, the Danville gathering is also intended to be a time for spiritual renewal and community formation, according to event organizers. Participants will enjoy worship service, designated times for prayer and fellowship.
A report about key decisions from the meeting will be released in September.
