Top international leadership from the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) met at Olivet University in downtown San Francisco to share future vision and set goals Mar. 20-22.
The World Evangelical Alliance is a global network consisting of seven regional and 127 national evangelical alliances, 104 international member organizations and six commissions serving the worldwide church. The 160-year old Alliance has partnered with Olivet University in key areas consistent with the school’s mission, commitments and goals.
The latest meeting of WEA Regional Secretaries included figures whose oversight responsibility covers North America, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Asia. This gathering was the most recent in a series of conferences aimed at refocusing and strengthening the voice of the organization, which has experienced significant changes in structure and leadership since 2005.
A private reception hosted by Olivet University President, Dr. David Jang marked the conclusion of the 3-day WEA conference.
