OTCS focusing on Old Testament Studies

November 25, 2009

As a part of the ongoing effort to offer a rigorous core biblical studies curriculum, Olivet Theological College and Seminary (OTCS) will be featuring courses on Old Testament studies in the Spring 2010 semester.

Around the same time last year, OTCS focused on subjects in practical theology including highlighted courses in missiology with professors from around the world in various mission fields. Combining the mission-first emphasis from last year, OTCS hopes the focus on Old Testament studies will give students a strong biblical foundation for their mission work.

The focus on Old Testament studies will feature some new faces among Olivet's faculty. In addition, students will have access to Olivet University's updated online system which will offer an array of resources that will complement their learning in the classroom.

"We're excited about our plans for the 2010," said OTCS program director Jonathan Park, "We want to offer students the most well rounded education possible during their time with OTCS."

Olivet University's Spring 2010 semester is set to begin in February.
