Writing Boot Camp (Seminar) 1 unit | 7 Workshop sessions, each 2 hours This 7-week writing-intensive module gives students with a non-journalism background extra practice in refining their written communication skills. Students will learn how to develop a main thesis for their news article, research and evaluate internet sources, meet deadlines while producing publishable work, and apply journalistic conventions to their writing.
